“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.”
Psalms 55:22a NIV
Some days life feels surreal. I’m like “what’s the point in reading. I’m living inside a dystopian novel.” Do you agree?
Here’s what I’ve noticed…
Asking God to take care of my worries helps me have strength and peace each day.
And there are moments when in out working in the yard with Dad the day appears so normal. I forget about what’s happening at every hospital in our nation. The sweet moment causes guilt. “Oh my, I forgot how blessed I am.”
I don’t to tip toward either end of the spectrum, anxiety-ridden or Pollyanna-like selfishness. I want my eyes to be clearly focused on the world’s needs while my heart and mind are completely hidden in Christ’s peace.
I give you my worries,
my mind, soul and heart.
Please give me your strength,
