“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”
Psalms 32:7 NIV
As a child, my hiding place was a tree. I would climb up to a fork and daydream I was on a plane traveling to exotic locations. It was my special place to be alone and daydream.
As an adult, I’ve found God is a much better hiding place. Not only does He listen to my dreams, thoughts and fears, but He on, helps me process and prices from my real and imagined fears.
Lord,
Thank you for being my hiding place,
My safety in trouble,
My shield from arrows.
Amen.
