The Truth: You are loved. You are Beautiful. You have a purpose.

How Was Your Yesterday?

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.”
‭‭Psalms 90:17 NIV

I want what I do to matter, to have significance, to to go to bed each night knowing I accomplished my goals.

There is no better feeling than laying down at the end of the day exhausted from hard work.

Some days I succeed. Others, not so much.

Yesterday….

I didn’t.

I worked on a small, easy commission instead of the sock due April 1st or the test knit due April 5.

I bought more yarn than the one skein I needed to finish a cozy commission. And a couple magazines, even though I had to use money from the grocery envelope.

But I ended the day back on track at Bible Study Fellowship. And I finished two blog posts before bed.

So all in all, it was a decent day…goal-wise.

Do you feel good about yesterday? Did you wake up excited to start? work hard? finish a task? begin a new project? fall asleep tired?

Did you ask God to establish the work of your hands?

Lord,

May our days on this earth be pleasing to you.

May the work we do be a blessing to others.

May the days of our lives fill our souls with satisfaction.

May we follow You closely each and every moment.

Amen.
