We often remember how prayer can and has healed the body or protected us from some type of harm, but can you name times in your life when prayer protected your soul? As you journal today, thank God for those moments.
Prayer can also, at times, feel like a chore, a sacrifice. We all experience that. But what about thinking of prayer as a gift, a present, a non-animal sacrifice? How can that idea transform your prayer today?
Have you ever thought about how Satan is affected by prayer? I wonder if it physically hurts him? Does he shutter when we pray? Write out a prayer of praise today and as you do, remember that prayer weakens Satan’s power.
