It’s Sunday morning. I sit on my couch and go to church at the same time. It feels wrong and comfortable at the same time. Church without a building or friends, yet with family worshipping God together.
This Lenten season certainly feels like a period of waiting.
- Waiting to leave our homes
- Waiting to go back to work
- Waiting to see our friends
- Waiting anxiously to see if we will catch COVID19.
Are we waiting on God?
Are we putting our hope in his Word?
Lord,
We are not good at waiting,
Of sitting in unanswered questions,
Of forced slowness,
Of distress in the stillness.
Help us put our hope in you and in your Word.
