Today was a good day. Our empty-nester house has become multigenerational with the arrival of Jessica, 21, and Dad, 92.
And today we all sat around the living room and yet attended three churches.
- College Wesleyan, Marion , Indiana (Jessica’s church)
- Spooner Wesleyan, Spooner, Wisconsin (Uncle Ron’s church)
- GracePoint Wesleyan, Brookings, South Dakota (Jaena’s church)
In three hours we were able to worship with distant loved ones. Despite social distancing, family felt very close today.
The Lord refreshed my weary soul.
Church felt like church should feel.
Lord,
Thank you for moments and technology that allow me to see those I love praising you.
Thank you that the Church is not a building, but a people.
Thank you for leading me to quiet waters and refreshing my soul.
