For the month of August, we will focus on Psalm 27.
Lord,
I call out to you,
sometimes with a loud cry,
other times in the silence of my mind.
My heart longs to see your face present
in the world around me.
Just a glimpse among
the busyness,
the everyday,
the unexpected,
the tragic,
the incomprehensible.
Still I will seek your face.
Amen.
